Welcome to Grange Park Prep
Choosing a school is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make for your child and it’s rarely made on results tables alone. It’s made on how a school feels, whether the children seem happy, whether the staff know them properly, and whether you can picture your own child walking in each morning.
Grange Park is a small school by design. With [X] children from Nursery to Year 6, every teacher knows every child — their strengths, their wobbles and what makes them tick. That knowledge is what allows us to set high expectations, and to give each child the individual support they need to meet them.
Whether your child would be taking their first steps in Nursery or preparing for 11+, I’d encourage you to visit on an ordinary school day. Nothing on this website compares to watching our pupils learning, laughing and getting on with it, and you’ll have your answer within the hour.

History
Founded in 1924, Grange Park Prep School has more than a century of preparing children for whatever comes next. The school has changed with the times (co-educational since 2018, and proudly so) while holding to its founding idea: children do their best work when they are known well and expected to aim high. Today we serve families across Enfield, Winchmore Hill, Southgate, Palmers Green, Oakwood and the wider North London area.

Inspection Reports
Grange Park Prep School is inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). At our most recent full quality inspection [2019], we were awarded ‘Excellent,’ the top grade for educational quality and teaching. Our 2022 compliance inspection met every standard, and our 2023 inspection under the ISI’s new framework found [provision and pupil outcomes to be strong align wording precisely to the published report].
