How To Apply

Four steps, one decision made with confidence.

Choosing a school is a big decision, and we don’t think you should make it from a website. Our admissions process is designed to be clear, personal and unhurried. A real person guides you at every stage, and there are plenty of chances to see the school exactly as it is.

Why families choose Grange Park

  • Classes of no more than [X], so every child is known by name and by need.
  • The only prep school in N21 preparing children all the way to 11+.
  • One journey from Nursery to Year 6, so no school moves, no starting again.
  • Care from 7:45am to 6pm, with freshly cooked lunches included in fees.

The process

Step 1. Visit us.

There’s no substitute for standing in a school while it’s working. Book a personal tour with our Headteacher, or join one of our Open Mornings

Step 2. Register.

Complete our registration form and submit the registration fee. From here, our Admissions Team guides you through everything that follows.

Step 3. Spend a day with us.

Your child joins us for a taster session meeting future classmates and experiencing everyday life at Grange Park. For Nursery children, we arrange gentler settling sessions shaped around each child.

Step 4. Your offer.

Once the taster or assessment is complete and a place is available, we’ll be in touch with your offer and guide you through enrolment.

Entry points

Nursery (from age 3)

Children can join our Nursery from [age three]. There’s nothing to pass. Entry is non-selective, and our focus is simply on helping your child feel settled, secure and happy to come in each morning.

Reception

Children joining Reception take part in an informal assessment. There’s no pass or fail but it helps us understand your child’s stage of development, so the right support and challenge are ready from day one.

Years 1 to 6

Entry to older year groups depends on availability. Prospective pupils spend time in school with us, so we can understand how they learn and both be sure Grange Park is the right fit.
