A Typical Day in Pre-Prep

In Reception and Key Stage 1, the day balances the structure children thrive on with the play they still need. Phonics and maths when concentration is highest; creativity, movement and stories woven through the rest. Here’s a typical day. 

The day runs to a rhythm children quickly make their own: [arrival and registration from X:XX], morning lessons when minds are freshest, time outdoors whatever the weather (within reason), lunch cooked fresh on site, and afternoons for [specialist subjects, clubs and quieter work].
